Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. There was a company newsletter, as there usually is. One article I read was extolling how renaming some of the parks was a really spiff idea, and it had So Much Meaning.
The changes: Pembroke Pines to The Pines at Pembroke Jefferson Estates to The Estates at Jefferson and so on. Every one of them was exactly like the two above, all had the The ... At ..... There wasn't even enough daring to add some unneeded Es to the mix, as in South Pointe. No trees, No water, No hills. Now you'll finally score well.
I used to regularly pass a "retirement community" at a major entrance to the town of Purley in Surrey. For a while the hoarding called the place "Purley Gates".
