Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Holy moly! Why is it not front page news that these Democrat women, former NOW women, Ms. magazine, etc are endorseing McPalin?!?!

Pajak ... I haven't seen a story about the President of the LA Chapter of NOW, a lifelong Democrat, as she describes herself, publicly backing Sarah Palin at a NOW meeting either. The LA Chapter of NOW is the largest chapter in the country.

Guess if it doesn't fit the 'meme' it doesn't get into print.

Anon ... you're implying that we would vote for Palin because she is a woman. That's insulting -- to us and to her. Her qualifications, earned on the frontlines of Alaskan politics, are impressive to me and to others. She happens to be a woman. And you happen to be anonymous. Who has more courage? You or Sarah?
