Freedom.ok..I'm gonna talk about Islam and a recent article in the Atlantic. I've edited it so that conservatives aren't prefaced with adjectives that describe them as loonies. However the URL is given for those who enjoy that type of thing. So....

Strange Gymfellows

At the request of the Harvard Islamic Society, Harvard University has created female-only exercise hours at one of its athletic facilities, so that Muslim women don't have to work out alongside men.

The argument about how Western societies should accommodate their Muslim inhabitants tends, for the moment, to break down along the pre-existing left-right lines of partisan debate. Liberals viewed it as an innocuous and reasonable gesture, and a case study in how multiculturalism ought to work. Critics of such accommodations, meanwhile, conservatives are concerned about creeping shari'a, and the possibility that multiculturalism's tendency to buckle under pressure from aggrieved minorities who reject its premises entirely is paving the way for the Islamification of the West, as is happening in Europe at a lighting pace.

But this alignment is deeply unstable.

The challenge Islamic immigration poses to liberal societies may not transform the West quite so profoundly as many pessimists fear (and at least some Muslims hope). But at the very least it's likely to leave Western politics forever altered.

The last paragraph of the above Atlantic article is crap with the exception of the last sentence. But at the very least it's likely to leave Western politics forever altered I've been altered enough. Hell, I can't even have a Nativity Scene at Christmas or say Merry Christmas without some fruitcake objecting. Intolerant of me? Damn right.

I have stated many times that Islam, the philosophy and not the pseudo religion it purports to be is totally incompatible with the enlightened West. I am far from alone as many scholars agree. This is the purpose I see in having our Congress redefine Islam as a inimical movement and remove it's religious status. It removes a shield for Islam that was never meant to guard a hostile bastard "religion" philosophy from the full prosecution of our laws.

Islam and the West can trade, maintain diplomatic ties a la the ChiComs, and the resurgent Soviets but for it to establish itself in this Judeo-Christian nation as a contra religion is suicidal, as is currently being proved in Europe.

I pointed out last week that polls consistently show that 7% of the Islamic world is fanatically and radically anti West. That's 97,000,000 people. No sane country allows the nose of that camel under their tent. The US should bar Islam as a religion on our soil and drastically diminish immigration from Islamic nations. Allowing a Malthusian plague to kill a few hundred million wouldn't be a bad thing either.
