Maggie's FarmWe are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for. |

Monday, September 10. 2007Moveon.org: I doubt their patriotism
More on Soros and Moveon: Yes, I question Moveon's patriotism. More about today's ad at Powerline. In fact, I believe that they, and Soros, have a powerful dislike of America, regardless of their views on the Iraq war.

B, the exact same thought occurred to me this morning. The NYT ad triggered it. It ain't the war at all, per se --it's the American system they want to bring down. The whole ball o wax.
When they say they love America, what they're talking about is the geography --only. Yes, they "hate America" and want to destroy the country. Hee hee hee, you silly, silly people.
Read Senator Lieberman's essay in the WSJ this morn. Sure wish there was some way to get him into the next administration. He'd need a political party, tho.
Those who have read me on this site as well a another site that Buddy and I frequented for a time know my feelings.
I have been yelling it as long and loudly as I can that there is an active fifth column in this country and it begins and ends with the Democratic Party. Now I realize that's a damn big brush but one only has to connect the dots to see that once was only limn is now clearly evident. Their politics are the politics of Marxism and destruction of ant republican form of government. If they get all the three branches of government then Hillary's idol Saul Alinsky's dictum that it is all POWER and you get it by any means necessary. If their will prevails, we will have a civil war. I can guarantee I will man the ramparts and fight to maintain our Republic. I encourage each reader to seek out the resources I am placing here so that you can understand the web of fifth columnists, and the goals of the Socialist Democratic Party. Few, if anything else inflames me more than to watch the slow accretion of the Democratic Party ideas erode our citizenship. It truly makes me fighting mad. Now the resources and a book review... Destroying Democracy Thomas Jefferson once said something to the effect that the end of American democracy will come when people figure out they can use the system to vote themselves money out of other people's pockets. Today, that's precisely what the American political system has become, as political economists James T. Bennett and Thomas J. DiLorenzo make clear in this excellent book. The examples are, by now, somewhat out of date. But they outrages they report on have, if anything, only gotten worse. In many ways, the State has become little more than an engine for the forced redistribution of money. People vote for politicians who will give them things, hoping what they get from picking their neighbors' pockets will be greater than what someone else, in turn, takes out of their own. Politicians flog the system for all it's worth, and are rewarded according to their ability to hand out loot they have no right to in the first place. Of all the ways this is done, the most egregious, at least in Bennett and DiLorenzo's minds, is the pouring of tax dollars into organizations that then use that money to lobby for specific policy agendas. Again and again, Bennett and DiLorenzo give us chapter and verse (and dollar amounts) of how labor unions, environmental radicals, anti-market and pro-socialist, 'anti-poverty,' 'civil rights,' and other pressure groups pocket free money at taxpayer expense. Conservative, industry, and pro-business groups aren't spared their time in the spotlight either. Nor are the politicians (many of whom are still in office today) who receive hefty campaign cash from the same groups to whom they funneled those tax dollars. George Will has written that anyone who wants to understand how American government works shouldn't read the Constitution, but rather open the Washington, D.C., phone book and observe all the organizations, associations, and lobbies with the word 'National' in their name. Bennett and DiLorenzo provide an invaluable service by exposing this racket fully. Even seventeen or more years after its first publication, 'Destroying Democracy' is essential reading for anyone seeking to understand what politics and the State are really all about. Review by Andrew S. Roger who I just discovered has a website http://www.andrewrogers.net/ Destroying Democracy; How Government Funds Partisan Politics (Hardcover) by James T. and DiLorenzo, Thomas J. BENNETT (Author) The second resource is without peer anywhere for connecting the dots for that is it's sole purpose. Learn this tool and when you run into an organization or person check out who they are connected to...this will amaze you and is THE most valuable tool on the net http://www.discoverthenetworks.org/Articles/Another%20attack%20by%20Muslim.html Discoverthenetworks.com Know thy self, know thy enemy. A thousand battles, a thousand victories Sun Tzu One thing about the 5th column, most of it I think has no idea of what it is, that it is in fact a 5th column.
It's just "against the system" --yet overwhelmingly ignorant of the accomplishments and/or meaning of that system. There surely do be some hard-eyed Leninists back there, tho, pulling strings. Look into Soros' "Open Society" organizations, and the "Tides Foundation" to see just how much taxpayers are contributing to these left-wing activist (AKA "subversive") groups.
...meanwhile, while you and I are subsidizing his foundations, Soros operates his own personal businesses from...the Cayman Islands! Y'know, for the tax shelters. Tho his own "salary" is, as he says, taxable as an American citizen. Wonder what he pays himself in taxable salary --a dollar a year maybe?
Those old tranzi plutocrats must giggle themselves to sleep at night. Wot a deal, they're selling us our own nooses, and they don't even have to hide the fact --it's "the law". Yes, they wish to destroy America as we know it. Understand that the mainstream media and its political arm the democratic party is made up of minorities of various flavors. Whether they be gay, lesbian, black, brown, anarchist, marxist, antichrist, criminal or other they have a fundamental hatred for this country. The reason stems from hatred of the largely anglo saxon straight christians who built it and have been the traditional power base of our politics. They will never support our traditional values as they wish to destroy them and marginalize those who practice them. Once you understand this, then the rantings of Nancy Pelosi, Move-on.org, Al Sharpton, Cindy Sheehan (why is she news anyway), Hillary Clinton et al make perfect sense. It is their principal agenda...
I think Scott Wiggins sees clearly through the looking glass darkly.
WSJ must've gotten ticked off over the "General Betray Us" smear; the three new articles are all on the Barking Moonbat topic. A Bret Stephens, a John Podhoretz, and an editorial:
