Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

The Immigration Bill

Excellent video summary of what's most grievously wrong with the bill, from Lou Dobbs.

What bothered me the most is that it provides for the taxpayer to pay the bills of the illegals' immigration lawyers. (Thanks, Reader)

In the appended video Lou Dobbs says this is all about amnesty. That is good as far as it goes but it's a bit like saying that electricity is all about lighting a 60 watt bulb.

What this is truly about is POWER. I have outlined before the changes that can , and I would be willing to bet all I own, will be attempted.
1. Enlargement of Supreme Court filled with ACLU lawyers
2. Enlargement of House or Reps...all computer generated to guarantee Democratic control for a century.
3. Attack on 2nd amendment brought to the new Supreme Court..bye bye guns...or hello civil war.
4.Universal healthcare ..three year wait to get an exploded appendix removed...they'll exhume the body at taxpayer expense.
5. Sewded Poles,Czechs..the entire world are now booking flights to Mexico so they can cross illegally..I mean why wait for all those messy laws and such...

You get the idea..our culture,customs,form of government etc will all completely change within 5-10 years with the addition of an instant 20 million new "citizens" oh BTW the Feds really have NO idea how many illegals are in this country..hell it could be 50 million.

Start the message....tax rebellion NOW!! 4/15/2008 no one pays....vote out every local and state pol who won't roll back or eliminate gas and sales taxes.

When Lou Dobbs has to tell you "what's wrong" with something, there can't really be any right to it...
