Maggie's FarmWe are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for. |

Tuesday, March 8. 2022QQQ'The first casualty, when war comes, is truth.' - Hiram Johnson (1866-1945) I do not believe a single thing I read about this war. It is all propaganda lies from all sides.

All I know is that everybody seems to be agreed on the storyline, when I know for a fact most of them have no idea what's going on.
Does anyone remember the film "Wag The Dog"
- War, in Albania ! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wag_the_Dog Never mind the movie. Why does no-one remember the actual event the movies was based on?
Sanitized version here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nayirah_testimony The New York PR firm Hill & Knowlton, who arranged perjury to the Congress for the purpose of embroiling America in a war went unpunished. I'd have hanged them for treason. I saw last year that they were "advising" the WHO on its "Covid Messaging" I told an ex-military officer, neighbor of mine, that I thought this might be the first armed conflict where information warfare is a leading priority, maybe even as important to success as the field movements of troops and armament. Mostly I think it's due to the extreme portability of communications now, with cell phones and their instantaneous abilities. I am looking ahead, expecting to see information warfare gaining the importance in conflict to the point where it is treated as its own battle front, and worked into the command/decision structures with footing on par with other specialties, competing for resources; Infantry, Artillery, Air Support, InfoOps
Watch for the parade of prisoners; all those stalled trucks etc must have drivers. Are they be treated with the appearance of fairness?
Recall, we're just days into this. The Ukrainian's, rightly in my mind, are overemphazing heroism and resistance efforts, so people don't give up. Russians are under playing why they're not in Kiev, because they don't, perhaps, want the world to know how messed up they are. I do believe it's true that there are humanitarian issues in the Ukraine, and neighboring countries, and that the Russian Army is indeed in the Ukraine. Since we know, it seems, less of the "truth" today than we did 20 years or more ago (6 Jan, Trump collusion, Covid, etc), is it really surprising that the war in Ukraine has discarded facts next to piles of lies (or mistakes). In short we have few honest brokers digging for a fine taste of reality to feed us; it's easier feed cheaply obtained junk food.
I do also know gas is $0.90 a gallon more...up a dime from the weekend. I believe we need a new descriptive term for the form of government we are now living under. I don't think it's accurate to call it a 'Representitive Democratic Republic' any longer. Yes, government positions are still filled in this Constitutional manner, but when you stop and consider it, the actions of government and the symbiotic, complementary actions by corporations are not controlled by legislation, or constrained by the rule of law.
In Italy, they called government control of the media, the national sensibilities, and the corporations 'Fascism'. But that is not what we have here, now. We have corporations, supposedly independent, filling a complimenting niche to government's desires that amplify its power. Consider the Canadian banks, seizing the assets of their customers when identified as part of the Trucker's Protest. Completely extra-legal, and without official sanction; striking terror into the little people who feared everything they owned was now lost, all due to a non-violent protest. And now, even though their accounts were later restored, they are now 'flagged' for life with some kind of special classification. Consider the same, sympathetic / extra-legal cooperation enthusiastically provided to the DOJ, phone and credit card activity for people suspected of being involved in the Jan 6 protest. No protections under the law; no due process to secure personal data. So: What do we call this newly-flexed power by the team of corporate America, the American Media complex, and The Democratic Party. What is this new form of government rule? I don't know how to make it succinct. I start with "Der Regulativ(sic) Staat Uber Alles" but this doesn't capture that it is a corporatacracy, a term used to refer to an economic, political and judicial system controlled by corporations that puts the interests of favored global corporations/industries above all else. Perhaps, corruptacracy isn't that far off.
In Chicago we call the criminal organization comprised of gangsters, politicians & law enforcement, banks, corporations and public unions The Outfit.
I think the term we are seeking is "Kakistocracy":
System of government which is run by the worst, least qualified, or most unscrupulous citizens. Lately, I've been musing on how the word "Honor" is absent from public discourse...but this morning I've just realized we've replaced it with the much sleeker and more modern "virtue signalling". keeping "The Barrister" informed of war progress is the least concern of Russia or the Ukraine.
Bit of background, apologies for the length...
________ Patel Patriot Forwarded from Learning2Human ☕️Morning coffee thought inspired by Patel Patriot's part 18... Remember how the Dems and the MSM went apeshit because Trump asked Zelensky to coordinate with US DOJ to investigate corruption and Biden's claims of extorting $1 Billion for firing the Ukrainian prosecutor who was investigating Burisma? I'm seeing that same level of artificial indignation and insanity directed at Putin because he is finally doing something about the Ukrainian mess the globalists caused. The latest insanity by Senator Lady G calling for the assassination of Putin is evidence of his/her desperation. They are panicked. They know how deep their corruption goes. In just the past week, all of the Rothchild's have gone public against Putin. George Soros crawled out from his dark hole to make several public comments against Putin. Loads of Hollywood celebs have sided against Putin. Most of the US Congress publicly side against Putin. The media quickly cranked up the propaganda machine against Putin. Man, this happened fast! It's only been a week and all the hidden scum ran out of the shadows screaming feigned indignation and horror...even though a hot war in Ukraine has continued since 2014...but only the culturally Russian Ukrainian civilians were being terrorized and abused. It seems that exposing Ukraine corruption is a very sensitive topic with the globalist treacherous filth. What do they know that they don't want made public? So why was a mass land army invasion required? Because the globalists established a massive organized criminal syndicate masquerading as a nation-state. The globalists funded and trained a fully equipped military force to act as the "muscle" to extort and terrorize innocent Ukrainian people, and to protect their criminal network...under the auspices of national sovereignty. It was brilliant. They created a legitimized storefront called "government" to clandestinely enable money laundering, human/drug trafficking, and even bioweapons development. All of that criminal activity was protected under the sovereignty of a legitimized puppet government. Zelensky isn't the Mafia Capo. He's nothing but a puppet. He dances and sings for the hidden oligarchs who pull his strings...just like Trudeau, Macron, Ardern, Biden, Johnson, et. al. We are witnessing an unprecedented use of cross-border mass military formations as "SWAT" forces to takedown a massive, militarized criminal organization. Russian military force was required because the extent of the brazen global corruption had been left unchecked for decades and it has metastasized into an entire nation-state of organized crime in the West. You bet the CCP is watching. The Chinese Communist Party is nothing but a brutal criminal organization too. They understand full well that after the White Hats takedown the globalist corruption in the West, they will set their sights on the criminal empire of the East...the CCP days are numbered. This is much bigger than we can imagine. It's happening. - 04MAR22, PatelPatriot repost on Telegram "Putin... is finally doing something about the Ukrainian mess the globalists caused"
Jesus I hope you never offer to do something for me. Putin is invading a sovereign nation and killing civilians indiscriminately. I don't understand where this idea comes from that Putin has some kind of right to invade Ukraine. WTF! "Jesus I hope you never offer to do something for me."
I didn't offer to tie your shoes. "It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it." Is it possible there's some bias, partisan opinions, even war propaganda in my cut&paste above?? Sure. "White Hats"?? "Globalist treacherous filth"?? I'm sure you can find more. But can you strip out the emotion and address the original poster's chronology of events as a way of discussing what's going on there? Words have meaning and should be chosen carefully. The Ukrainians are people, human beings. To refer to this deadly invasion as "Putin doing something about the Ukrainian mess" like it was a clean up in aisle four is disgusting. THAT is what I objected to. Note to anyone who wants to write a political or informative essay; don't piss of the reader in the first paragraph with disgusting statements and expect them to continue reading to see if you really didn't mean it!

Kind of hypersensitive aren't you? The meaning was clear. You expect everything you read to be sensitive to your "feelz?"
BTW, there is no evidence that the Ukrainian civilians are being killed "indiscriminately" ... speaking of being precise with your words. First, the Ukrainian government chose to arm their civilian population, which makes them armed combatants. Second, the Russians just agreed to open up civilian evacuation routes from Kiev. Third, there is such thing as collateral damage even in modern warfare, so it is beyond unreasonable to expect there will not be civilian casualties. There's a report of channel 13 news in Israel being caught showing fake footage.
Their problem was that someone saw a Star Wars stormtrooper in the bottom left of the video clip. The report could all be lies of course but it's probably true because they seem to have issued an apology. Even the Fathers of so many lies are being lied to. I believe the reports I get from an acquaintance in Ukraine. They're much closer to the official Ukrainian accounts than to the Russian ones. I believe the reports from the mounting numbers of refugees in Poland.
