Maggie's FarmWe are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for. |

Thursday, October 21. 2021So Much Thursday. So Little Time
Well, hello all. Roger here, the king of Sicily. Bird Dog is off getting his annual flea bath, and he's left me to guard the henhouse while he's away.
For instance, I was barely aware that there are hearings or something being held somewhere, where panels of grim-faced blacklisting, witch-hunting martinets are interrogating people with questions like, "Are you now, or have you ever been, a member of the Las Vegas Raiders coaching staff"? So here's a smattering of random information you might find amusing or informative or silly or whatever. Also, did you know the Raiders moved to Las Vegas? I didn't. The Rams still play in Los Angeles, though, just like when I was a kid. They'll never move.
Head of California’s largest union arrested on theft, fraud charges
You know, if I ever run for state senate, the first thing I'm doing is getting my ducts cleaned. Because it's all about ducts, really. Since Katherine Helmond is speaker of the US house of representatives, it's all starting to make sense. Evidence for European presence in the Americas in ad 1021
I deal with Europeans from time to time. They don't seem to be cognizant of anything but America, now. We're villains to them, of course, but at least we're the main characters in their lack-of-passion plays, so we have that going for us.
The United States Government opposes the misuse of technology to abuse human rights unless you're an American, they mean. Say, where did you get that $600 in your bank account, prole? FlixMobility acquires Greyhound to Expand U.S. Intercity Bus Services
There are those Europeans again (FlixMobility is German), getting all cognizant of the Americas again. I've never found Greyhound to be affordable, exactly, or egad, comfortable, or smart, no matter how you define the word. And if it was "sustainable," they wouldn't have been able to buy the company. But hey, I'm quibbling about sunny language used in a press release, and I can't help noticing that the press agent at FlixMobility is named Goebbels. Well, at least they're not buying railcars. The FDA wants you to be able to buy a hearing aid without a prescription
But not Ivermectin. With or without a prescription. Cannabis and Male Fertility: A Systematic Review
Remember, correlation does not equal causation. How do we know it's not a Cheeto overdose causing the problem? Huh, science dudes? What was the question again? Trump announces media company, social media platform coming next month
Dumb and tone-deaf, as usual. You might as well call it WalterSobchak.com, tagline, "we're not wrong, we're just ***holes. You should have advertised it as the "social media company for everyone, not just lunatic leftists." See, this is why the other side still hires people named Goebbels. They know how to play this game. Check out the original 1851 reviews of Moby-Dick
I've read that the really hard thing to do in fiction is to create memorable, believable characters. Captain Ahab is one of the most memorable characters every produced by a writer. Everyone knows who Captain Ahab is. No one knows who William Young, critic at the New York Albion was. Facebook settles a federal lawsuit over allegations it favored foreign job applicants
Remember, it's only evil colonialism if you set up shop in sunny climes and lord it over the locals. If you import the benighted to do your scut work for a pittance, it's social media! Sanjay lives in the Amistad Arms apartments, barely scrapes by on what they pay him, and he can't quit or he immediately becomes a fugitive. That arrangement sounds familiar, but at least it's not colonialism. Have a great day, everyone, and keep those ducts clean!

The "Brazil" reference pretty much assures me this will be a good day.
Following that up with "The Big Lebowski" means today will bestow riches...
I've yet to see evidence that "Consumers across America are increasingly seeking affordable, comfortable, smart and sustainable mobility solutions". Other than in press releases and government justifications for more spending. Classic attempt to increase demand by increasing supply. This, too, shall fail.
'Commerce Tightens Export Controls on Items Used in Surveillance of Private Citizens and other Malicious Cyber Activities"
And this perfectly crystalizes the issue. We can't have the Chinese Govt. doing to their people what the American Govt. does to Americans. I have no interest in export controls. What we need are internal controls on the use of these technologies. Roger de Hauteville: But not Ivermectin. With or without a prescription.
Actually, you can get Ivermectin with a prescription, but most doctors and pharmacists will not prescribe it for COVID as the drug has not successfully completed phase 3 trials. None of the vaccines have completed phase 3 trials either but the government can’t jab enough people with it fast enough.
mudbug: None of the vaccines have completed phase 3 trials either
That is incorrect. Pfizer and Moderna have both passed randomized, observer-blinded, placebo-controlled phase 3 trials. Pfizer and BioNTech Conclude Phase 3 Study of COVID-19 Vaccine Candidate, Meeting All Primary Efficacy Endpoints Moderna Announces Publication of Results from the Pivotal Phase 3 Trial of the Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine in The New England Journal of Medicine Both vaccines have since passed phase 5, required for full FDA approval. According to the FDA, Phase 3 trials last from one to four years: https://www.fda.gov/patients/drug-development-process/step-3-clinical-research. So the time aspect has been ignored.
The number of deaths associated with the vaccine have also been ignored. The last time a vaccine was fast tracked, for the Swine flu in the '70s, it was pulled partly because about 55 people died. There are over 16,000 people listed in VAERS that could be attributed to the vaccine. To my knowledge, there has been no program to perform autopsies on any of those who died so we'll never know the true cause (why not?). There was a German pathologist who found that of the autopsies he's performed on potential vaccine caused deaths, 30 - 40% were actually caused by the vaccine. The German government quickly tried to discredit his report. One purpose of phase 3 is to compare the drug what's available. This is important in the current situation since emergency approval requires that there is no treatment be otherwise available. There was no comparison between any of the vaccines and currently available treatments. In fact, comparisons were actively discouraged and suppressed. Early studies on hydroxychloroquine where fraudulent. It was either used on dying patients, with lethal doses, or the data was made up (as in the case of the study published in the Lancet which was retracted when the fraud was uncovered). The FDA justified the removal of the emergency authorization of hydroxychloroquine on the basis of the retracted Lancet study knowing it was fraudulent. At the same time they were suppressing the use of hydroxychloroquine, the FDA was pushing the sue of Remdesivir (at the cost of thousands of dollars) but it never went through phase three trials. In fact the NIH this past August (August 2021) said of Remdesivir: QUOTE: Authors' conclusions: Based on the currently available evidence, we are moderately certain that remdesivir probably has little or no effect on all-cause mortality at up to day 28 in hospitalised adults with SARS-CoV-2 infection. -- https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/34350582/ The medical establishment and the media have basically done the same thing with ivermectin equating it with horse medicine and therefore inappropriate for human use. Doctors and PAs have been threatened by licensing agencies for prescribing either hydroxychloroquine or ivermectin. Merck, which invented ivermectin, came out and warned people away from it by saying, among other things, that it might not be safe! What they don't say is that they are working on a drug that has a similar function to ivermectin and since ivermectin (this also applies to hydroxychloroquine) is off-patent, they can't make any money on it. There is nothing remotely "standard" about the way these vaccines were tested or the way adverse reactions have been addressed. The FDA can squawk all they want about phase 3 trials but the fact is they have not done what two years ago would have been considered a phase 3 trial. Anybody who tells you they know that the vaccines are safe over the long term is lying. I think it's hilarious in a way that all the people who were not going to take Trump's vaccines because they could not trust them are now the ones forcing people to take them whether they want or need them. It's also scary because those people will obviously say anything that would help their political agenda regardless of any facts or principles and they are running the country now. mudbug: According to the FDA, Phase 3 trials last from one to four years: https://www.fda.gov/patients/drug-development-process/step-3-clinical-research.
That wasn't your claim. You had falsely claimed that they hadn't completed phase 3 trials. A year or so is typical. It takes time to engineer the study and find sufficient numbers of qualified volunteers. They pushed the process forward and completed all aspects of the process just in half a year. mudbug: There are over 16,000 people listed in VAERS that could be attributed to the vaccine. Again, that is false. Entry into the VAERS system doesn't represent attribution, but association. An analysis of VAERS indicates that they represent close to the background death rate. mudbug: To my knowledge, there has been no program to perform autopsies on any of those who died so we'll never know the true cause (why not?). Huh? This isn't some newfangled thing. Doctors and medical examiners have been determining cause of death for generations. If someone goes to the hospital with severe problems breathing, tests positive for COVID, then dies with pneumonia, then it's reasonable to attribute the death to COVID. When we look at the statistics, we can see that excess deaths reasonably match the COVID death count, so that provides an independent confirmation of the overall death rate due to COVID. mudbug: the FDA was pushing the sue of Remdesivir (at the cost of thousands of dollars) but it never went through phase three trials. Conclusions lack foundation when based on falsities. https://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/nejmoa2007764 mudbug: What they don't say is that they are working on a drug that has a similar function to ivermectin That is also incorrect. Molnupiravir is a nucleoside analogue and works by causing mutations during viral replication. Ivermectin works as a protease inhibitor.

When the head of your union's husband is paying his employees under the table, you may want to question the sincerity of the organization. And this sort of malfeasance by union management should be grounds for a decertification vote, but of course that will never go through.
Most experts, scientists and intelligence agencies, agree that the Covid came from the Wuhan lab. The intelligence agencies now realize that the release was intentional. It was too obvious. infected Chinese citizens flooded Italy and other Western cities (like NY City) and the plague ensued. This wasn't the first test of biological warfare by the Chinese it was the second that we know of. But the plot thickens as we now know that the Chinese have used the gain of function to make a deadly virus airborne. A virus with A 50% to 80% mortality. It now seems likely that the Chinese intend to use this new virus to decimate the worlds population as a first step to world domination. The Chinese recent military/nuclear buildup makes it clear that they intend to follow the biological attack with a nuclear attack to insure that no viable military opposition is left to fight. This is their plan, our current lack of leadership offers the perfect timing. I don't see any way to stop it.
GoneWithTheWind: Most experts, scientists and intelligence agencies, agree that the Covid came from the Wuhan lab.
Why many scientists say it’s unlikely that SARS-CoV-2 originated from a “lab leak” COVID-19: US intelligence rules out biological weapon origin Is this the same 17 US intelligence agencies involved in "confirming" the Russia, Russia, Russia hoax?
indyjonesouthere: Is this the same 17 US intelligence agencies involved in "confirming" the Russia, Russia, Russia hoax?
The claim concerned what the intelligence agencies said, not whether they were correct. Notably, you took issue with our accurate statement, but let go the claim that China is going to purposefully blow up the world with germs and nukes. You have no idea what an accurate statement is and continue to quote government officials and employees that have no idea what reality is and only care about the "narrative".

The claim was "Most experts, scientists and intelligence agencies, agree that the Covid came from the Wuhan lab." Therefore, what experts, scientists and intelligence agencies have determined is directly relevant. Most experts, scientists and intelligence agencies do NOT agree that COVID came from the Wuhan lab.

And especially so considering we were covertly funding it...and it was in the interest of the 17 intelligence agencies and the NIH, FDA, and the CDC along with the DNC and Fauci to make sure that none of this would come back to bite them in the keister. Those are your experts, scientists, and intelligence agencies at work. And all for the NWO, build back better, third way lockdown. It's nice work if you're a government employee and have that paycheck coming regardless of your sabotage of the "old way" capitalism. Now that is "fundamental change" as Obama mentioned.

Okay. Then you agree that the original claim was incorrect. Most experts, scientists, and intelligence agencies do NOT say that COVID came from the Wuhan lab. Your argument is that all of these people are apparently lying about what they know, rather than just being mistaken. Do you have evidence that COVID came from the Wuhan lab?

Wrong again Z bot...The "experts" that you refer to are mostly government employees that denied continually that they did not fund the virus or weaponization of the virus. It would not surprise me in the least that they denied that funding as they were co- conspirators working with the Chinese to oust Trump as that would benefit the administrative state that they were employed by and would help the Chinese avoid any more tariffs and likely kill off the tariffs already applied by Trump. It was all just another Hillary/Obama creation of another Russia, Russia, Russia except they were now working with China. Hunter Biden and lets go Brandon are already in Chinas pocket.

Sorry KiddieZ.
Fauci lied, millions died. https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2021/10/20/nih-contradicts-fauci-admits-funding-gain-of-function-research-at-wuhan-lab/ The absolute proof that we all know Wuhan produced the virus and released it intentionally is the far left/communist/Zach desperately trying to disprove it.
