We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
What's next. Is anyone supporting this guy? Are his friends and associates writing condemnatory letters, starting go fund me campaigns, marching on the governor's office for him. Or, because conservatives lean towards being individualists, allowing him to accept the consequences of his actions. It's time we collectively start shouting loudly, NO, this will not stand, and pushing back. I hope I'm wrong but I don't see much evidence of this. He states people feel bad for him, but he seems left entirely on his own. This is no way to win a skirmish, or a battle, let alone a war.
