Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

My favorite movie soundtrack of all time, close second is Paint Your Wagon. First bought it at a garage sale on eight track tape.

Ennio Morricone was a very gifted composer.
It's really odd how a series of Italian movies filmed mostly in Tunisia have become essentially the exclamation point of the story of the American western.

"Wah wah" singer lady didn't seem enthused.
Some parts of this performance sounded too quick and clumsy.
Great job by the guitar and bell musicians.
But, thanks for sharing. Always a treat to hear this, and see it performed live.

A guy came into my weorkplace; his phone rang out with the opening of GBU.

Also, you should look up the Ukelele Band of Great Britain on Youtube for their rendition.

Ennio Morricone, Italy's national treasure. His movie scores are masterpieces. My favorite, Cinema Paradiso. Thanks for posting!
