Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Are these people retarded, or insane?  Mizzou Just Never Learns


I suspect that they are just terminally, willingly, spinelessly naive. Willingly naive is a kind of denial of reality so it is not too far from insane. They will not admit to themselves that they are being played because that would expose their moral and spiritual frailty.  


The world, and academia, needs more Prof. Petersons and fewer profs and administrators who fold like a cheap camera, as they used to say.

You will never find in any other business model so many weak-minded, cowardly and self-righteous administrators than in American universities. They are beholden to the Teacher Union mindset of the looney left - them first, students after themselves. They throw out these ridiculous diversity minded agendas to look like they care about students in a smothering way.

Trust me - as a closet conservative on campus - I know them well.
