We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
That's what I did. Hired a lawn service two years ago. After mowing lawns for 75 years (parents-neighborhood-my own), I haven't missed it least bit. Only drawback is my rider, two self-propelled, gas powered whacker, edger, blower, hedge trimmer and all the other tools are rusting away. Probably ought to sell them.
That explanation doesn't make sense. I don't see how incomplete burned lean mixture would ignite upon being exhausted. A rich mixture could since it would have excess fuel to mix with air in the muffler/exhaust piping. A rich mixture would also be what was created by a rapid deceleration signal to the engine as pulling back the throttle would cut the extra air quickly but there would be a delay before reduced vacuum equalized in the passages providing fuel thus excess fuel would be introduced for just a split second creating a rich mix.
