Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Claremont student rioters to be punished?


One would hope so: CLAREMONT RIOTERS TO BE PUNISHED?



 The college’s conduct was craven. The fact that leftists planned to disrupt Mac Donald’s speech was well known, and the administration had plenty of time to prepare. It made a conscious decision to let the barbarians rule. Hiram Chodosh, president of Claremont McKenna College, said in a statement that “the school will develop strategies to make sure a mob of students cannot shut down a sanctioned campus event again.”

I suspect strategy number one will be 'don't sanction campus events that will trigger the mob'.

The Marxist/socialist administrators talk a good line, red line as a matter of fact, but just can't pull the trigger. Maybe it goes back to the 60's new boomer social order, of which they were a part, and they are determined to Alinsky and Gramsci their way to a nearby retirement.
