We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Ides of March Krazy Kontest


Nobody has yet compiled a list of all of the things that the campus (and off-campus) crybullies shout and cry about. Somebody should keep a list, akin to
A (Not Quite) Complete List Of Things Supposedly Caused By Global Warming.


Yesterday we were amused to see people freaking out about swastikas in  a production of The Producers (!). Also, complaints about a play about the Orient Express ("Orient" is a racist word, and the train is all about shameful Travel Privilege). Sure seems to be a lot of pain and anger in the bullies these days, and a lot of spineless grow-ups too.


Today's Krazy Kontest will not be a list of all the things the moonbats want to ban or abolish. At the request of reader, it will be about Predictions  for future kraziness.


So what do you think will be next on the Krazy front? (Thought crimes, bannings, genderisms, new racisms, microaggressions, etc)

My guess is they will eventually turn against solar and wind power as it harms birds and other animals.

The massive structures needed for wind are ugly and ruin the beauty of the landscape, they are manufactured using mined materials and they kill birds of all kinds.

The big solar farm project in southern CA is burning up birds right and left, it covers acres and acres of precious desert lands, and also uses 'dirty' materials to be produced.

Much like the green lobby that forced us to use plastic bags for groceries instead of paper in the 80s only to reject the very thing they wanted (plastic bags), they will do the same to these 'green' initiatives as some point.

That new solar tower in the Mohave Desert uses natural gas every morning to get things started. How do the Greenie's square that with their worship of sun and wind?

Not really a prediction since it's essentially what Professor Click was attempting to do at Mizzou in controlling access to the demonstrators and thereby controlling the story, but if you can imagine how hurtful it is to a Munchausenist to see a white guy wearing a sombrero just imagine how this frail petunia must feel being then mocked for expressing such silliness.

Would the next logical step not be a gag order of sorts dictating that grievances be held to a confidentiality standard, that those rape apologists and cultural appropriators and ciswhitemale oppressors and sundry triggerers like male gazers and mansplainers not be apprised of the grievances filed against them lest they publicize the charges and thereby mock the aggrieved? In fact, why do victimizers such as this have any right at all to be informed of the charges levelled against them? Do not the victims of oppression have a right to privacy that entails a right to keep secret from their oppressors the claims of the victims?

Sure, you might call such secret trials wherein the defendant is not informed of the charges against him "Kafkaesque" but that's just because you're one of the privileged oppressors who knows what "Kafkaesque" means. And I'm keeping my eye on you for that one, you seem pretty suspicious to me.

Mandatory psychiatric screening, towards the end of drugging anyone with any "aggressive" personality traits. In order to reduce macro/micro-aggression, etc., of course. "For the greater good and for your own safety."

Everything makes them pee their pants as soon as someone tells them it should.

I predict:
Sunglasses worn by men (used to hide their gaze raping eyes)
Scholarships for white men - Already too privileged.
Men driving SUVs and Trucks - it's just another version of man-spreading.
Men with dreadlocks unless they're black - it's just insensitive.
Blogs making fun of the perpetually offended.

The use of water...we are destroying it and we must take action now to halt its utter destruction. Soon it will all be in the rising, hot, seas.
I know because Greenies have said so.
A massive water tax is required I am sure.

Spielberg already redid TE The Terrestrial Extra to replace G-Men's guns with walkie talkies, and Lucas keeps revising Star Wars so that everyone has a chance to shoot first.

I predict there will be student demands for digital remakes of klassic american movies:

Casablanca will feature French colonialists as the heavies, instead of the nazis.

Gone With The Wind will get the blackfacelift it so richly deserves: Rhett and Scarlett will lecture the audience on the evils of white privilege.

Song of the South will be disappeared.

smoking will be edited out of every movie.

also, because Kanye West, who is a known rappest, says that white men shouldn't play black music, one half of Booker T and the MGs will vanish, along with 3/4 of the Brubeck Quartet; all for cultural appropriation.

threatening baritones and even tenors will be microagressors for wymyn and men who have self gelded or identify as wymyn.

self driving google cars mandatory in NASCAR

reparations for descendents of slaves --> reparations for microaggressed students

because the FCC owns the airwaves, Christian music violates the 1st Amendment

the black labs/all labs genius will be prosecuted for hate krimes.

This is coming from a former smoker. If they ever delete the smokes from Bogey's fingers I very well might resort to violence. Nothing makes me want a Pall Mall 100 more than 1940s movies and I wouldn't have it any other way.

As far as Song of the South, it's already been banned. It's never been released on video. I have been pirating all classic cartoons I can find on TPB so that my children can have normal Saturday mornings. I would advise any young parent to do the same.

Mandatory numerical parity in academic departments. hard caps on slots for men in finance, engineering, and physical sciences. Creates shortages in these fields, leading to widening salary inflation. Government solution - table of "rookie contract" pay rates equalizing across all fields (see school contracts where math and science pays same as art and history)
