Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

PC is killed at Princeton


So they say, anyway: Princeton Votes For Freedom of Speech


I suppose private organizations are free to limit any speech or behavior they wish, so an affirmation of American ideals against the PC bullies seems like a good step.

Gosh, that's refreshing to see/hear! How far we've come from "Free Speech Park" in Berkeley founded in the late '60s by the students because they claimed their right to free speech was being suppressed to the free speech zones we have now to allow people a small area where they can exercise free speech because some thought they were spoke too freely.

I'm sure this will be a variation of "You have free speech as long as it isn't hate speech, and we decide what hate speech is". Hate speech usually being filled with "Hate Facts" and other illiberal content.
