We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
I have always found it fascinating that while elitists and NWO champions constantly proclaim that morality is relative and that conscience is not inherent, somehow they are the ones who possess the proper definition of the “greater good.” If “good” is in all cases relative, then wouldn’t the “greater good” also be entirely relative? This inconsistency in their reasoning does not seem to stop them from forcing the masses through propaganda or violence to accept their version of better judgment.
We would be far better served as a species if we were to turn our back on the NWO altogether and move swiftly in the opposite direction. Imagine what tomorrow would be like if there were no controllers, no statists, no despots and no philosopher kings. Imagine a tomorrow where people respect the natural-born rights of others. Imagine a tomorrow where people’s irrational fears are not allowed to inhibit other people’s freedoms. Imagine a tomorrow where interactions between citizens and government are rare or nonexistent. Imagine if we could live our days in peace, independently building our own destinies, in which our successes and failures are our own, rather than the property of the collective. It may not be a perfect world, or a utopia, but I suspect it would be a much better place than we live in today.
There is an echo of the Garden of Eden the reverberates through out mankind. Somebody somewhere wants to impose their version of utopia on everybody else. If only there was enough power and control, we would have utopia. And those who would resist will be killed. Violence for all the best reasons is not violence.
"We would be far better served as a species if we were to turn our back on the NWO altogether and move swiftly in the opposite direction."
This could be said of the left, socialism and communism in general. Whatever the're selling we should want nothing of it. You don't really have to dig into the pro's and con's or understand the motive, if they want it then it can't be good for the common man.
"Imagine a tomorrow where people’s irrational fears are not allowed to inhibit other people’s freedoms."
Then also do away with the morality police who are rampant on the political right and want to impose their idea of good and evil on everyone...
It's not just leftists who are control freaks, leftists just have a different set of morals and ideas they want to impose on people.
Instead of referring to Marx and Lenin as the source of universal Truth and Moral purity, they just refer to God (i.e. the people who wrote the version of the Bible they themselves prefer) for the exact same thing.
There is no difference between a left wing statist telling me I have to obey the Government in all things and a right wing statist telling me I have to obey The Church in all things.
The breaking away from having religion control the social was a good thing. Leaving religion to influence by convincing argument is the goal. No need to replace it with a new ideology.
Unlike some today, this does not mean that either religion, namely Christianity, nor ideology should not be permitted to make its case. It simply means that the political, social and economic should not defer to them and their influence should be by example of their acolytes, not government force.
