Good advice. The rentier economy is going nowhere but downwards.

On the other hand, the President advises abandoning your personal ambitions. Sort of odd for him to be saying that: Graduates, Your Ambition Is the Problem - Obama's commencement speech at Ohio State on Sunday would have perplexed the Founders.

It's a shame that the state that gave us Edison, the Wright Brothers, Rockefeller, Charles Brush, and provided a home for Proctor & Gamble, Goodyear, NCR and so much more...had to be exposed to this nonsense.

Worse, the current residents likely embraced it.

It's part of the tragedy.

"The Founders left us the keys to a system of self-government," he went on, "the tool to do big and important things together that we could not possibly do alone."

Yeah, but that doesn't mean the Founders predicated that Government would be part of that collective effort by individuals who band together. Only a Fascist like Obama who has no regard for the accomplishments of other people ("You didn't build that") and is inflexibly hostile toward free markets would assume Government should be or must be a partner in everything a free people choose to do.

pretty funny that the small o would denigrate personal ambition...with o, personal ambition is the force that drives the plant.
