If one were to believe the hyped-up silliness going on at Capitol Hill, you'd be very very afraid of this dweeby nice fellow with his minivan and good looking family.

At the risk of saying what everyone already knows, Alioto Alito will be confirmed. What has been going on has been red meat and pandering to the Dem base, thus Alito is being smeared with implications of the usual racist, anti-environment, fascist, corrupt, plutocrat-lover, child-hater, woman-hater, etc. etc. The lack of respect is beyond belief, and I am not surprised Alito's wife had enough of it. If anyone takes this seriously, they are in la la land.
