Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

I'm not certain that this video did much to support the person who puts their capital and time on the line to develop a new product and a potential source for a new business resulting in multiple employees. Give me an expanded story.

When Mackey came out a couple of years ago and said Obamacare was a terrible idea, he became the Chick fil A of the time. Their stock has never looked back.

yah --Moscow on the Colorado Austin's leftwing govt and university crowd thought it owned the local boy wonder capitalist-with-a-wink. When it found out it didn't, heads exploded all over town.

"I'll NEVER shop there again," roared the tolerandiversalist diversitolerandians, as their craniums emptied out with no noticeable effect other than the wet spots on their dog hair & cigaret butt spontaneous shag carpetting.

Their stores are as expensive as hell. No thinking man shops there that I know of. Mackey may be a fine guy, but they're simply overpriced for what you get. Speaking specifically of their Orlando,FL store.
