Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Should the government redistribute muscle mass?

And stranger still, the muscle isn't just given away to someone else, someone else (government) is giving it away to someone else. What's easier than spending money that doesn't belong to you?

Its in the same vein as those whom ask all those skulls, full of mush, if they worked hard for that 4.0, to 'give to others whom need it more than you'.

Pretty much everyone asked said "no way! I worked HARD for it, and its mine.".

Then, the little lightbulb goes on, and they realize the folly of socialism and 'From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs' is robbery.
