We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

(Note: There's some infantile swearing)
Children raised solely by the popular culture and the public schools are essentially feral, but somehow less noble than an actual feral person would be. That's a difficult thing to achieve. Must be why it costs so much property tax money and cable bill cash to accomplish.

My question is, why are you displaying this piece of crap on your site?
If this is the generation who will be running things in the very near future, they are welcome to all of it. Count my @$$ out.
It was worth my time to view it for a minute.
While I may not know many people like that, it is "enlightening" to be made aware that there are people like that.
It is also worth seeing to be reminded that although we live in a culture that exalts youth, not all that emanates from youth is worth exalting.
Something that reminds me of that mentality was that when I was in 8th grade, the girls would giggle when someone wore red on Friday. Wearing red on Friday was supposed to indicate that you were pregnant. Was it also green on Tuesday?
I think your headline may be right. Though Lord, I'd hate to judge that contest.
I can't believe there are six and half minutes of that. I couldn't get past 45 seconds.
This is from the E channel, Joan Rivers has a show with a segment that's called "Bitch Stole my Look" and this girl thinks she's hosting her own show. It's "I want my own reality TV show" generation.
We start by not posting it, I'm guessing. I took in 11 seconds, which I will never get back. This is not representative of why I visit MF, especially on a quiet Sunday morning. As the most annoying people of my generation might opine, "Ewwww, gag me with a spoon!"
I'm not quite getting the anti-"posting this" sentiment, Cilla and CultureShlock.
I think some of us, especially those of us who are are a bit older and out-of-touch like me, need to have it rubbed in our faces so we can be painfully aware of the nature of the vermin that are coming behind us.
Of course, the same "we" are to blame for it. We (collectively) left our God, left our culture and left our laws. Here is the result.
Thank the T'ao for private and denominational schools that do not take the public coin. They can keep this garbage out and actually educate the next group of leaders.
The gin soaked bunch shown here won't last long enough to lead.
First of all, why is this the result of a public school system?
Wouldn't it be much more apt to say it was a product of lousy parenting than a failure of the educational system?
Secondarily, it only proves that any idiot can have an opinion about anything and let the world know about it. This is the brave new world of "Social Media" in which feral humanity proves to itself and others that not only can the lowest common denominator can reached, it truly can be surpassed, amplified and presented as "truth".
Man oh man, how I wish the rapture had been yesterday, so I would no longer have to live with this and the consequences of it.
Burger King has many tables explicitly so that you can always move away from tables of young girls.
Um....it's too late to stop them from reproducing.
Clearly, that had to be her mother - they even look alike.
Something weird is going on with my Safari browser. When I scroll down the MF Web page, under the heading of "Most Annoying Person" I get a link to a Joe Cocker video clip. Now Cocker is not everyone's cup of tea, but I like him and have no reason to think of him as being especially annoying. But, I figured, maybe you know something that I don't, so I clicked away to watch the video. What I saw looked pretty innocuous.
Puzzled by your lead-in, I went to post a comment. As I did, lo and behold, up pops a link to the video clip of that airhead SOPHOMOREZ. Ahhh, now she is, like, you know, really really really annoying. As I said, something strange is going on.
HA-ha! This is the result of allowing your "dear offspring" to scream and run wild in decent restaurants; only going where they can order hamburgers or grilled cheese, instead of making them try Thai, Greek, Indian or Chinese foods; saying "Okay, darlin', we won't go" when the little bastards throw a tantrum refusing to go to an art museum; asking "what kind of car do you want?" when they turn 16, instead of telling them to get a job to pay for a clunker and all it entails; pushing their self-esteem, instead of their self-respect; letting them "guilt" you over not buying the biggest TV and latest Xbox; letting them opt out of math and science classes, "cuz there's too much homework"; endlessly giving them money, instead of your time; refusing to make them engage in physical activities; trying to be their "friend" instead of their parents; forgetting how to say "NO"to them;....and on and on!
You blew it, Charlie and Buffy! (My three eat anything; love museums, are productive taxpayers, with degrees in useful fields, got their own jobs.....etc. and it all started with us being parents first, wielding the big "NO!)
I lasted about 30 seconds.
Clearly I need to have tolerance training.
I'm 58, and I knew people equally annoying when I was in high school. Hell, I was half that annoying myself.
Go to adobe.com/downloads/FlashPlayer and upgrade the software.
It was odd, as this issue was only manifesting itself at Maggie's. Good luck!
Nope. Now the problem I faced has morphed into the issue you were having. The solution I'm finding is simply to refresh the page after it loads initially.
At least the page isn't hanging up, but the required page refresh is annoying to say the least. This hasn't happened at other sites to date.
Checking in again after a couple of hours, I am not seeing a recurrence of the problem (without any other action on my part).
