Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

We are negotiating a treaty in the U.N. that will take away our second amendment rights? Uh, ok crazy guy.

There is a UN treaty to restrict trade in small arms under consideration. If it has any effect at all, it would be to make it harder to buy an imported firearm. You could call that infringement.

Supporters of that treaty include the usual lot of governments and non-governmental agencies that don't want people to have access to firearms.

Anyone would be an improvement over John Salazaar.

However he will be very hard to beat, though 3rd District Republicans out number Democrats by about 20,000.

Last election he took almost 62% of votes.

He's no less pro gun and hunter and American than McConnell, who will have to have more than a nine to shoot his way into US House.

He got the wording of the 2nd Amendment wrong. It's not "........in the defense of the nation........", but ".........to the security of a free state.......". Other than that, I'm all for him. I hope he wins. We need someone like him here in the People's Republic of California. We have some of the most (if not the most) restrictive gun laws in the country.

Yall have Ronny Raygun to thank for the Mulford Act which pretty much began the nazification of Khalifornia.

Suggest yall move to America, Hambone.

Knew a Hambone in high school in northern Cal.

Good catch on the words Bobboy got wrong.

He needs to figure out difference between a free state, Colorado and the nation, USA.

He ain't so smart but shoots a tight group.

Maybe, if'n him study awhile he could make successful run after John Salazar retires.
