We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
Wow. That is very neat. But $295 a year? I think I'll get one used from Amazon. I might even have one. I know that sounds retarded, but my **MAC*//* has a terrific one that I just click open. It has a thesaurus for each word that is way fun. I have Rodale's 'The Synonym Finder' - best in the world. I get lost in there and don't come out for days or until AOL yells: "You've got mail!" and scares me. I also have a spider hanging from the ceiling in my bathroom. He dangled down and I hairsprayed him with ultra max boss control cheap hairspray. It's kind of creepy, but I like it in a goo goo gajoob sort of way. I think my sugar level is low. I better go eat. Most of these sentences begin with 'I'. Is there a synonym for that?
Right now I was looking for my school dictionary. Haven't found it :( It's been from the same publisher and had the same name. I am living in germany and on the so called 'Gymnasium' (has nothing to do with sports) we were able to use the 'Oxford' in our english classes.
