We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
Had a few of them from time to time. They are indeed a nature-loving treat. Even had an old beat up claw-foot tub out in a grove that we enjoyed on occasion. Recommended! But be sure to account for winterization requirements (low drains for the pipes).
As to outside showers, I have one. It is in full public view on one side of the house. I use it on hot days while working outdoors or when I get out of the pool. Around the backside of the shower is where I dry off, then walk several steps to the master bedroom door, and get into shorts. These things are possible when you design and build your own home.
