We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
I watched the movie "Schindler's List" and I felt that it was not really an honest portrayal of what happened in World War Two. The events depicted were reasonably accurate (I hope) but the context was not. Here's a quote from a reviewer: The movie asks each and every one of us to search the depths of our character, and ask ourselves what we would do in a situation where our moral, spiritual, and physical beings were threatened from every direction."
That about sums-up German motives for the war. Germany was under attack from every direction. It was not a "land grab' by Adolph Hitler. Communists, Blacks, Insurgents, and violent demonstrators were making war against the German people. Just like the blacks in America are doing right now.
So let's ask a question: If as Americans, our moral, spiritual, and physical beings are being threatened, then what's the correct response? There's only one answer: Good men must roll-up their sleeves and expel the communists, the Blacks, the insurgents, and the violent demonstrators. This movie was made as propaganda, so that people won't recognize that what happened in Germany, is exactly what's happening in America today. It's the same villains, just in a different place.
