We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
Well actually that was a lie. His locker room conversation was about how women would fall all over him because of his wealth and fame. Just like they fall all over movie stars and rock stars. What he said was crude but true and was hardly sexual assault. But that's is all they got. Just like the impeachment they are forced to themselves become the liars and immoral people to try to bring Trump down.
show me the man and i'll find you the crime. this impeachment smacks of 1930s communist Russia. the Russia collusion lie and this impeachment is how a fundamentally transformed government works. Schiff has made uncle joe smile.
I had the same thought, and a similar one about the accusation that Trump pressured a foreign government to investigate the son of a political opponent, leaving out the important detail that there was something that rather obviously deserved a hard look. (And even the Democrat's attorney agreed it should have been looked into.) It is not as if he asked Ukraine to make something up.
If they think that they way Trump went about that was improper, then that is what they should say. They may even be correct. But leaving out key facts is deceptive.

... leaving out key facts is deceptive.
That's the nature of the game among the Washington class. It has little, if anything, to do with what you or I might understand improper or unnfit or anything like it to mean in any objective or descriptive sense. These are just used as a smoke screen to condemn him or anybody else as NotUs.
Sure, there are exceptions inside the Beltway, only not many, and they're either neutralized or compromised in short order.
I detest casual sexual assault as much as the next feminist, but I agree that's not what he was describing. He was pleasantly amazed that many women responded with delight to an undisguised sexual proposition by a rich and powerful man. When feminists find a way to persuade women to make their sexual choices by another standard, get back to me.
If the guy's not actually armed, the main trick is to say no and mean it, instead of to giggle and start planning how to cadge free meals and promotions out of him. Most guys won't ever get that far if you send clear signals from the start. You have to know whether your sexual response is for sale or not.
