We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

"Bill Clinton company shows complexity of family finance."
The tip of the Clinton corruption iceberg indicates this mightwell be the biggest political corruption scandal in U.S. history. Hillary used all here time at the state department to sell off American assets in return for millions in payola. This is an excellent opportunity for an investigative reporter to get a Pulitizer prize by exposing this enormous scam by the Clinton crime family.
you've got that all wrong. girls don't want nice guys because they're surrounded by nice guys. they want a guy who does something other than being nice, as in, playing the drums. as a drummer, I know this as a fact. it is also a fact that jazz chicks are better than rock chicks.
BTW, did you want her back?

With your low opinion of women, I wonder if you ever managed to find one to marry. Just like there are 'bad boys' there are also 'bad girls.' Just like there are 'nice guys' there are also 'nice girls.' Not my fault if you were always looking for a 'bad girl' who wasn't interested in you.
Which investigative reporter might do that? During the entire Clinton administration and the current Obummer administration there have been dozens of scandals that have either gone uninvestigated or under investigated. Reporters have been spied on, documents have been withheld, administration officials have been caught in lies. There has been little interest from the media in generating any outrage like they like to do to Republicans.
While Bob Woodward has been fairly honest (recently stating that Bush had not lied about Iraqi WMD leading up to the Iraq War), he seemed unmotivated to really delve into any of the Clintons' hanky panky. He said if anyone had any information, they could call him. I guess that's what a good investigative reporter does now a days - wait by the phone for information.
During Clinton's second presidential campaign, there were stories about Chinese officials giving money to the Clinton campaign. Tom Brokaw told Don Imus that it would be interesting if the Chinese Funny Money scandal would have an impact on the race. Imus said that it would be unlikely because if people watched Brokaw's new they wouldn't even know about it because he never reported it.
I wouldn't hold my breath for someone to try for a Pulitzer Prize. They have bigger fish to fry - protecting leftists in power.
Iraqi Army: I doubt much of what I see in The Atlantic. I ask, Why Would They Have The Will To Fight? Is the Iraqi government strong enough? Does the army have enough weapons, supplies, and other support? US support was cut off. Will anyone else provide it? I see the answers as No to each.
