Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Fred Thompson addresses America

This brief talk by Fred is wonderful. I still think he would have been a great candidate in this election. He always speaks from basic American principles, which keeps his talks well-oriented, centered, thematic, and logically coherent. Unlike most pols.

Biden finally gets some tough questions. God bless Barbara West. If more journalists handled opportunities to question the Democrat ticket the way West did, we might have something resembling a level pitch to play on.

Thanks for the message. It's right on the money.

Now folks lets TURN OUT and VOTE and we can win this election.

TURN OUT is the key for us now so if it's necessary to miss work, well it'll be the best day you ever missed.

had to call the cops and find out why it was illegal to have mccain signs in yard but saw obama signs. a friend had a cop takes her away. guess what? new edict when out saying now it is ok to put signs out due to free speech and i asked so where are the signs you drove away with hmmmm? i am puttin gthem all over friend's houses today in westchester county. I am so mad!
