Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

The Sarah Palin smear job continues. I just read she has a slush fund of drug money, and that she is helping Bird Dog renovate his bathroom and helping him buy a new grill and smoker. When asked why she's doing this she replied she "likes to help men who dress up as women get ahead in life." I can't stand these people that start these rumors. They're terrible, evil, venomous people.

Sorry, BD, I just can't help myself. :)

I think i will stick with the island now known as Ithaca..it's such an atmospheric place...it feels right.

Marianne, I'm flattered that you think I am cute. Actually I look alot like Andy Garcia, but act like Al Pacino always yellin and screamin,but I never throw anything. My wife, now she's a thrower. That's the kraut,and mick in her. I'm normal Dr Joy said I was. My wife has all the issues. Ciao bella!
