Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

An over-the-top set even Leni Riefenstahl could love. So insecure, so narcissistic, .... it looks like a stage set-up for KISS, or the Stones, Madonna, et al. Ridiculous. The Obama connections are obviously all Hollywood wannabes, they make a good match;someone once observed that "Washington is Hollywood for ugly people". The "just another Democrat celebrity" tag on 'Bam will surely be reinforced by this extravaganza- almost seems like it was designed by the McCain media team!

Maybe he'll appear in the distance with the theme music for Clint Eastwood's spaghetti westerns.... that music that happened just before he whipped out his Colt .45 and shot a bunch of Mexicans. They won't want the dust so they'll use dry ice smoke.

Maybe they'll have a couple of rednecks on a roof to the east slapping their thighs and hollering, "The new president is a .... !!!" like in "Blazing Saddles." Music for that will be Madeline Kahn shriek-singing.

Laughing at the whole Demo-fascist fiasco... How can you sit in a church listening to the diatribe of an ignorant man (Jerry Wright, who is not a Godly Christian Minister) for 20 years and not subscribe to hating of Caucasians and America as a whole???... You can't & he & his wife are adament radical leftist liars.

Obama is a pathetically weak & ineffective senator... Just look at the region he represents to see that he's done nothing in significant in his 200 wk term...

Sisu, the event is no longer at the Pepsi Center. Obama had it moved to Mile High Invesco stadium. And they are closing down our main highway through town today from 5:00 to 9:00 or 10:00 to all traffic. He is causing this huge traffic jam because he wanted more glory.

Go figure!

It is so laughable to watch Republicans squirm and whine because Democrats have a powerful, young, intelligent person who can actually think on his feet. Of the decent Republicans in the country, your candidate is the absoluet worst possible choice, yet still, republicans cannot just admit that they chose a nutty old man who has no idea hat to say, or what to do. POW, POW, POW, POW, POW.... Does McCain actually have a solid stance on ANY issue? Seriously.....
