Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Mrs. Bird Dog

We try to veer away from the overly-personal here, but I thought a photo of Mrs. Bird Dog doing her farm chores might be pleasing to our readers.

I'm surprised that Mr. Bird Dog gets any chores done at all.

W-e-l-l . . I suppose you could buy her a hose, but then you wouldn't get to watch her walk back and forth to refill that little watering can. Now that I think about it a moment, maybe a smaller watering can, BD . . . as grant1863 says, good luck with your chores.

Interesting...I'm wondering HOW Theo (Spark) came into possession of such a "candid" photo of Mrs. BD, and also WHY he would post it at "Last of the Few" before you posted it here?
