In Canada, one of our national broadcasters (CTV) is still maintaining that Arctic ice is disapperaing and will be completely gone this summer. Observation, via satellite images, shows a pretty healthy polar ice cap at the top of the marble. They don't care whether its true or not, it just keeps the public riled up until something meatier comes along.

Another of our broadcasters (Global) did a series in early June about the Inuit people worrying about the ice breakup and left viewers with the impression that they, the Inuit, used to trek around on the shore-ice year round, never seen open water before kind of stuff. I thought that the Inuit invented the kayak - a particularily poor vehicle for travelling over ice, I must be mistaken.

We have heard from our local left-wing member of parliament that our local glacier is withering away. Photographic evidence from 100 years ago would put that conclusion to question.

Expect more and more medical conditions to be touted as evidence of AGW. I'm sure that some link (however tenuos) can be made between AGW and;
