Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Exactly what I've been thinking

Who is Obama? TigerHawk.

I tend to think that he is a Marxist with a Left-Liberal facade, but you cannot get elected as a Marxist.

BD I am very happy for you, Mrs BD and your daughter. I wish her all the best in the world, but I am left scratching my head; after seeing a picture of you and the Mrs about a month or so back. How did the both of you produce such a gifted child? GOD does exist, and there are miracles!!! : )

Barry is a Marxist. He'll say and do anything to get elected. It"s his puppet masters that I worry about.

jappy ... I think Obama was chosen by his Think Boys exactly because he is an empty slate and his political sins have mostly not surfaced yet. The Think Boys feel that they can write almost anything they choose on him and he will happily mouth it to the masses.

But I do think they may hae overreached themselves with this projected speech at the Brandenburg Gate. Americans of sense don't like that kind of arrogance, and Angela Merkel probably doesn't either. The place for that speech may be changed and soon.
