We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
Watched the clip, and I've seen the website and the extra clips they post there.
I usually avoid shows like this. When they're not well done I get angry and throw things "That's not how it is".
When they're well done - as this appears to be - I get all stupid and sentimental for the good ol' days. The opening of that clip was gut-wrenching: been there and done that.
I left that behind me in 1993 and I'm too old and fat (if only between the ears) now to be of any good to the service.
But ah, man, I do miss it sometimes.
