We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
Seldom in the course of human events has such a tragedy befallen an innocent nation. Long will the elders point to this tragedy as one of our nation's darkest days. As I understand it, legislation is already being enacted to mark this day as an official day of mourning and to forever remind the people of their darkest hour.
My question regards the shock and mental damage inflicted on the site's innocent readership, and whether or not legal recourse is the proper path to account for the horrific mental toil this article has taken on an unsuspecting public. What does Dr. Joy say? Is it even possible to completely recover from such an incident?
Doubtful.
Well, I suppose it's of no matter. Surely, with a lawyer on board, this site has taken out ample Bloggers Lawsuit Insurance for just such a day as this. Woe be unto them if they haven't!
For those of you who like "picture punchlines" like this, here's a whole page of 'em. One of Ace's co-bloggers (Purple Avenger) linked to it a while back and the gang thought it was pretty funny:

I included this pic, of course, and thanks for the fun post, NJ.
