Maggie's FarmWe are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for. |

I see Medea Benjamin is there, as usual (at 4:30 on the tape). Recall seeing her in the newspapers, posing with the white crosses that Cindy Sheehan lined the road with outside the Bush Ranch in 2004. The paper had no mention of who Medea is. Figured if I knew, reporters knew too.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Medea_Benjamin I have to say that they did choose an excellent name for themselves. As I was certainly taken back in time to those days. It is something... what a few professional agitators can do with so many willing lemmings. Would be nice to have the MSM pick up that film and broadcast it to the nation. On the other hand that didn't do much good in 1968 either.
Too bad they weren't all wearing Obama shits. Luther, you know they had on Obama thongs and t-backs on...nearer and dearer to their pudenda.
Hahaha... what a Freudian slip... lets try shirts instead of shits.
Now the nice thing about living in Florida is the "Stand Your Ground" law...if threatened you may shoot to kill, you do not have to retreat.
The lone Republican being forced by the crowd to retreat under the threat of violence could have pulled out his handy dandy Springfield Armory XD 13 shot .45ACP and kill a few of his attackers. And the were attacking him and his free speech rights. Empty that clip and slip in a fresh one and another 13 go down as the crowd, afraid of guns scatters. A third clip and the job is pretty much done for the day. Notice how the police allowed hate speech, fighting words , and fighting signs (the finger) to be liberally used, baiting the pro American side. It's a pitiful sight to see the police allow that to continue until the pot boils over. Easily sometimes violence is the answer where one side has no interest at all in conflict resolution, just revolution. Hell I'm all for revolution, the country was founded on a revolution, and I'm prepared to cull from our population those who challenge my rights. I'll be about 600-800 yards out taking out their leadership. One shot , one kill. Their call. Peace or war. You have to try not to let them get to ya. The world is full of idiots. That said, these jerks really do piss me off too, in part because I see no hope for a reasonable discussion with them - and in part because they seem to hate my country.
The Florida legislature fully debated the wisdom of what I have outlined. Why? Because they see what you and I see in the YouTube clip and in a hundred different encounters with leftist facists bullies and criminals.
I'm not letting them "get to me", I want at 'em.....if they press as they always do against my rights. A right that goes undefended by the citizenry or the police is no longer a viable right, it is simply a void soon filled with the power of the leftest thugs. If our mantra, which I have often heard repeated on these pages is "the world is full of idiots" and we don't do something, who do you think inherits the earth? The idiots or those who turn away mumbling "the world is full of idiots" ? At some point a confrontation must take place. As was stated at Lexington and Concord, "'If they mean to have war, let it begin here" You and I both know their agenda is not a continuation of a peaceful USA, a quiet main street, and playgrounds full of happy children. They want a Marxists Socialist state and with the aid of the Soviet Union have since the 1920's been working toward that end. It must be confronted. Cromwell said it best when CharlesI lost his head..."a cruel necessity". Habu , Luther was right the first time they all are disgusting little shits. They make me puke, I was having a fairly good morning until I saw that vidio. Iam still chomping to kick some ass.I want at 'em too. Problem is they are breeding like rats, and are warrior population is shrinking. God help us all, because the hand writing is on the wall. All we need is a match to set things off. Your a diamond in the rough.
Most of them seemed to be children, most of whom will be too selfish to have anyone more, thankfully. Also all seemed to be pretty well groomed, fed and clothed.

Let the guy with the bullhorn be your first target...
Jesus Habu,
Aren't you 6' bumping up against 7', 300 lbs. and change, plus a body builder to boot? I'm guessing: 1. A crowd of high school freshmen wouldn't pull up behind you making threatening noises. 2. If they did you'd turn around and lay three of them down with a stroke of your hand--the rest would scatter, screaming for their mommies. I feel you--communists are dangerous assholes--but kids are stupid and easily mislead. Talking about shooting them is out of line. Jephnol,
Well, I'm a tad over 6'2" and about 250 but that's not really relevant. (I am proud of my 300 pound bench press at 60 years old though) Sure, you're a youth at 18 but you can vote, protest at 12 if you want to but no vote, but you can pull a trigger or harass civil people. I give very short shrift to the argument that youth is to be extended a certain civility they deny me. In Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Rhodesia I saw kids (I'm sure less than ten) kill people and I shot them down when they warranted shooting. That's the real world..these kids at Berkeley are just a very thin veneer away from that. Kids may be stupid and easily mislead but that makes them not a twit less dangerous to take your life. MS-13 is a great example..pre teen membership in the USA..hack someone to death with a machete. Forget the Oprah stuff, that's a bunch of crap. Talking about shooting kids with malice on their minds and evil deeds a doing isn't at all out of bounds......go walk into a war zone in Africa or Timor or a dozen other places, including the inner cities of the USA and see who are carrying the guns and doing the crime. I'm not taking any shit from a twinkie adolescent harassing me. I might not kill him but he'd be counted as luck if he pushed his luck too far. That's one reason we have more than a million people in prison in the US ..there are bad kids and men out there, and one can kill you with the pull of a trigger as easy as the other. So feel free to take up the lack of slack I don't allow. I'd just be careful where I went, which today is anywhere. I definitely hear what you are saying. If a twelve-year-old with a weapon in its hand broke into my home I would shoot to kill. I have no qualms about it. But we’re seeing this video from two different perspectives—that’s okay—I believe in an individual right to bear arms and I believe that, as citizens of the US, we should be legally free to stand our ground. I’d trust your judgment on the scene.
“In Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Rhodesia I saw kids (I'm sure less than ten) kill people and I shot them down when they warranted shooting.” As well you should have… If I had been there with you, I would like to think I would have done the same. As always, Habu, you have my respect and appreciation for having served our country. Jephnol,
I think it's marginally important to understand that I did spend my 20's and early 30's in some hot spots where I could have been killed or kidnapped and tortured. It is an impression of life that never quite leaves you. Now our nation of 300 million, with unknown numbers of illegals, no real historical cohesiveness remaining has become so fractured as to present our entire nation's future in serious jeopardy. I also know that most of the funding is coming from the Soviets and the Chinese plus our seemingly insatiable need for cocaine and heroin. I truly don't want that but right this minute the FBI's list of bad guy groups is a football field in length and growing, while a complacent citizenry reaches for the cheetoes and the remote. So now beginning my "golden " years, when I thought the USA would be like the mid and late 1950's it's reality check time and constant vigilance is once again my "normal" state. I never thought this country could get busted so bad by one generation, but mine, the Baby Boomers, have proved me wrong. Pooh on them.

okay, don't shoot 'em then -- but remember, they'd probably shoot you if they thought they could get away with it.
What I saw was schoolyard shit in moonbat Berkley. I didn't see a gun.
There appear to be 2 improvements over '68
1. Some of the intimidators appear to be attractive. Tho, attractive females with trashmouths and hand signals is kinda iffy. 2. I'm sure most smell better, too. All that TV advertising over 40 years has paid off in starting use of deodorants in a new demographic! Who says Mad Avenue doesn't know how to target! Yet another demonstartion that liberaism (leftism) is a mental disorder. You cannot expect intelligent, rational behavior from lefties.
Freakonomics' motto for the USA - Our Worst Critics Prefer to Stay
I have no idea what that video was about but I would have kicked the living shit out of everyone there. Thats what happens when you get a bunch of 3rd graders to protest. Shut the fuck up and go eat your sandwiches with the crust cut off of them. By the way, you mom said to get home because the street lights are about to shine.
