Maggie's FarmWe are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for. |

Wednesday, February 20. 2008Weds. LinksRemove those polka dots at once. "Yes we can": A stirring bit of Reagan video to begin the day right. Funny, or wierd? Green wine? That WI landslide must be painful at Hillary HQ. I think it's over for her: the Dems have tired of the Hill and Bill Show. Here's a real sign of desperation. Speaking of Mrs. Clinton, she slams the financial services industry claiming they don't really work. And politicians do? So glad our Lords and Masters are worrying about stuff like this. How Conservative is John McCain? Pete DuPont The Fed's TAF. Learn about it. Global cooling is striking everywhere, including Vietnam:
My opinion? Those carbon offsets are working all too well.

I wish I was reading John McCain writing about Republican nominee Pete DuPont. I supported DuPont in 1988 when he was seeking the nomination against H.W. Bush. But I'll support the candidate we have.
In large part I believe Michele Obama gave part of their dinner conversation away with her statement about being proud of America for the first time.
I believe she's 44 years old which would have her birth year in 1964. So she missed the greatness and got the gravy but still has the audacity to make the statement she did. She has admitted that without the help of a great many white liberals she would never have gotten into Harvard Law School or I believe Princeton because her grades were so low. She was a quota princess pure and simple. Barack is a huckster without peer. If these two make it to the WH we'll have a revolution. So far his proposals for change add up to over $800,0000,000 and we don't even have the tally on what he really wants in specific. I'm sure one way or another reparations will become a topic again. Will he propose fining the African tribes and Arabs that provided the slaves? Yeah McCains got to win this or we'll be entering some very dangerous and explosive territory that we don't want to get into. Imagine for a moment how much bolder the N-people will become in making demands on the 80% white producing population for more of everything. He gives a great speech full of expectations that can't be met without economic and social miracles taking place. Once the euphoria meets reality the blowback should be something to behold. Hi folks
This is my first post so I must tell you that I follow Habu qaround ATTEMPYING to clean up his misspellings, grammar and numbers. Today's number comes from #2. I do not believe that $800,0000,000 is a real number. Rarely do we find four consecutive zeros in a big number. The usual mathematical notation is three zeros followed by a comma So, Habu your number should have been $800,000,000 .... still a big number. CAVU...bite my marsupial whatevers. Habu is a friend of mine. You start following him around and I'll move the entire bayou party possumtaters to your attic.
What the hell is a CAVU anyway ...better not mean Critters and Varmints Unwanted ! ! !
Mr Possumtater,
I meant no offense. I like Habu. I was just trying to help out. CAVU is an aeronautical term meaning Ceiling and Visibility Unlimited.

I think if we leave the polka dots and get rid of the red part it'll swell..ah be swell.
Just Google Obama+Sinclair. You'll find that just yesterday the NYT did a piece that's been in the ether for a week or so regarding a man named Larry Sinclair who claims to have given oral sex to Obama in 1999 while Obama was doing crack cocaine.
Forensic tapes specialists have been all over the tape and so far have confirmed through their methods that Sinclair is telling the truth. If this is true, and Sinclair has said he will take a polygraph, then Obama is in deep do-do. And Hillary will not let this go by without vetting it and then coming on like gangbusters to bury Obama as the dope dealing homo he may be. This should make the run up to Texas etc a fun time. I am positive Hillary has dispatched a team to interview Sinclair and perhaps do polygraphing. This is too, too juicy Habu, juicy stuff indeed .First time I'v heard of it . Has it ever been determined witch way Hillary is swinging?I think it will be the kettle calling the pot black. Bottom line McCain has to WIN! failure to do so things could get real dicy. Pot black, I think I just wrote a funny.
Jappy,
Yeah it's juicy. Now lets see if the juice is sweet. You just know the Clinton machine is working this full time, probably attempting to get a second Obama head man to pop up. If it can be done the Clinton's will do it and if the MSM picks it up, well a BJ and smok'n crack are gonna take Merlin the Magician's tongue to undo the damage. This is one helluva primary season. SURPRISE!! SURPRISE!! SURPRISE!!
Washington State still does not have all of it's PRIMARY ballots counted: must be some HELLACIOUS body wrestling going on between the Fem/Nazis and the African/American leadership of the Democratic(Union)party(ies)! HOWEVER, this is nothing new in WA state they pulled the same stunt to get our current FEM/NAZI into the governor's mansion--CORRUPT ELECTION PROCESS. Just like the big kids do it in NJ and IL. Not exactly the same as the clumsy in FL. In WA state the corruption of our democratic process is deliberate. Why can't we get Jimmy C out here to monitor our voting process? Well, we have mail in ballots, we have . . . . .BUT what we don't have is an ethical process. Ohh woops, I forgot the LIBERALS of WA state are searching their souls to "discover" what is "ethical". HOW ABOUT KEEPING A PROMISE ? (You know the promise about honest and open elections) It is clear that the process in this state is corrupted beyond the ability of local people to correct it. WHO WILL COME AND SAVE THIS DEMOCRACY? AP,
You're right. Florida was clumsy enough to get the case all the way to the Supreme Court where they decided that the new President was Geo. W. Bush. Darn shame about being so danged clumsy. Oh well, what's a body to do? Re: the timing of the recent Castro announcement:
http://forums.fark.com/cgi/fark/comments.pl?IDBlog=29 Intriguing? Interesting speculation... here's hoping it turns out to be true.
I agree with Luther ..very interesting .. I wonder what brand cigar he last smoked?
Say what you will but that old booger lasted a long damn time. My mother was unwittingly used as a courier for the anti Castro movement right when he was taking Havana. She and my aunt had to hide in the closet of their room in the Capri Hotel until my uncle came back to lead them to a grassy airfield and escape in a Piper Super Cub. She later found out the entire deal but she was a fearless woman and she thought the escape was "interesting" HABU: They at least got it to the lights and to the Supreme Court. We could not get that done. AND, in the process the powers here were strong enough to do in the AG (Gonzales).
I personally believe the day will come when we are praying for another man to lead as well as our current president has done! ''I personally believe the day will come when we are praying for another man to lead as well as our current president has done!''
Me too, AP. It's a sure bet. |
