We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
I think this might be a fake website, alas: Felonspy. I found some bad guys I did not know about, but none of my friends. If it were genuine, some of my pals would show up there, for sure.
They do not guarantee accuracy - read the disclaimer.
Why is it that the information changes each time you go back to the page? I had a 70-year old convicted of attemted gang assault living across the street from me, but then when I returned to the site, he had disappeared.
Near my vacation home there appear to be several sexual predators living in the middle of the lake, and at least one who resides on the railroad tracks.
It has to be a fake....as d noted, the info changes every time you go back to the page...Even if it is real, am glad I didn't see it back when I was a nervous young mother. These days? I just saw my kid wrapping a Valentine's Day present for me that said "Never mind the dog, beware of the owner!"
It's interesting to note that, while the commenters debate whether the site is on the up-and-up, no one seems shocked that it might be real, and that it exists in the first place.
"Search for violent criminals in your neighborhood"
Now, we presume they don't mean wanted felons, right? That is, if they know where these fugitives from justice are hiding, then so would the police, right?
Therefore, we can only conclude that they mean former criminals, right?
But note how the culture has changed over the past few decades. When I was growing up in the 50's and 60's, we were taught that once a person had paid for his crimes, society accepted him back. Note the term, "PAID for his crimes".
The site is fake. Enter any address and click Search several times - you get different results each time. It's a con-job. Probably trolling for advertising and then getting your address.
This is not accurate information. I think this is to get people on to view the "dog fighting" website. It states "to click on this website to STOP dog fighting" but I think it is a front to get people to actually view the site and get people interisted in the dog fighting world. Which anyone who promotes this horrible act should be put away forever.
