Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Puppy and I mourning Heath Ledger...favorite scene in "A Knight's Tale" was the dance in the medieval castle to Bowie's "Golden Years..."

Off to try and sleep without worrying any more about other puppy who phoned right after we had mailed college tuition check "I don't know...don't think this is right for me!" Aaaaagh. Was tempted to suggest the Marines, but not a good match for the puppy....

This scene is one of my favorite memories from the 1980s. Two such beautiful dancers. Lovely to see them again. Many many thanks.
