Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Earl Scruggs and friends

Froggy Mountain Breakdown. Yes, I like to call it "froggy" instead of "foggy."

That's some dang band Earl has with him (thanks, reader). As somebody commented, how did my old Auntie Bertha get in that band? What fun they have. The piano isn't bluegrass, but it does add something to the mix.

I can't get my fingers to move that fast at any time.
(I don't know about you, but it alomst sounded like they left the drummer in the dust for a while there.)

Ahh, it's double tracked. They do the fingering on one take and the picking on another.
