We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
naw, i didn't mean 'crossed' as against a vampire (tho....oh well, i won't say it), i meant 'crossed' as hoping a wish comes true.
my wish is that the Clintons and their syndicate get the big heave-ho here in the primaries, as with them out of the picture, the nation may achieve a refreshing and old-timey election, rather than another hellish slog thru Dante's Inferno with the "my personal journey" people.
I love the music. The song, for those who don't know, is Low Spark of High-Heeled Boys by Traffic-one of the all-time greats. Saw them in concert a couple years ago-they jammed. Steve Winwood was considered a boy prodigy-and did not disapoint. He played the piano, sax and simply wailed on the guitar. A true virtuoso.
