Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

That gap may be small in Coober, but Fidel hisself is said to be worth a couple billion. Funny how that happens. But tha's okay, ex-President Peanut jes' LOVES him.

I am in no way a truther or conspiracy junkie. However, this Bin Laden business appears rather suspicious. The question is how has he remained on the loose for this long? Could he be that lucky?

On the other hand, it could also indicate the level of protection he is recieving. Or, the lack of intelligence. Perhaps we are not able to adaquetely penetrate these terror groups. And if not, it may mean that we are in for a long struggle ahead in the war on terror.
