We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
Car tires would pack better too. Somehow all those millions of people living on those small islands with no natural resources causes some aberrant thinking.
The Japanese are not particularly large people to begin with but I am surprised that over the centuries the Chinese foot binding and American Flathead Indian culture hasn't joined in their deepest fissures and developed a body binding for babies that allows them to grow to only 3 feet in height. Just think about it. Baby car seats on JAL, with a capacity of 3000 headed for Honolulu. 400 sq foot apartments as mansions. Those tiny cars roll'in like big rides....man I think they're missing some great space and resource savings there.
