Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Today, Maggie's Farm has warned ya, informed ya, fed ya, entertained ya, and provided holy inspiration. Now I am off-duty, with tennis, smoking a nice pork butt, and some outdoor jobs. See y'all tomorry.

Baez sings like an angel. Politics be damned. Back high school I had her album with "Copper Kettle" and some other great ancient folkies, and she could brang a tear to yer eye.

I saw her live, about two months ago Buddy. She still has the voice, but damn, do her political lyrics get boring after a while.

Naw Buddy, saw her right here in the 'center of the universe' in SW Arizona. Old Mexico is just eat, drink and restful sleep. Quite fun actually. Let me know, you can join us on the next trip.

Sounds like a good time--keep me informed. Had some of my best times south of the border, down Mexico way. Eldest daughter's wedding was in Cabo--her idea. Sold my Chevron to pay for it, since then it's up by half. Hope they're happy, dangit. Just kidding, more than proud to do it (gag).

I want you boys to know you ruint my reading last night. I got into bed and set myself up for reading - Fergus, my six-pound Yorkie, spent ten minutes circling in his little green blanket with the edge partly on my book and his little body pushed up against me. I opened the book and busted out laughing and that was it! I scared Fergus and scared him several more times laughing OUT LOUD at......."and so full of nutrients too!" I finally gave up and turned out the light and lay there in the dark laughing at them okry nutrients.......

oh lawwww... I'm weeping agin an mebbe I dampened desjeans I have on........... hep!
