Maggie's FarmWe are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for. |

RE: I Must Have Everyone's Verbal Response..... sounds like the speech I get when I sit in an exit row:
Hahaha. That is a whole lotta policy they got going there at Antioch. o/t/, but when I get to the airport, I do scramble for a seat in the exit row. This last flight was roomy and fun as the 757-300 is a very cool machine and the skies were mostly clear. For the next few hours, the country unfolded below (except Mt. Ranier, which stood way over the clouds) and then on the drive from the airport I saw a black bear (not that unusual to see) and a moose (unusual). Also in regards to Theos' friend...
The Academic masters are popular again, and it is not unusual I guess, that the paintings of beautiful women are the most popular. Except for stuff like digital photography, some things never change. Here is a page from a good art renewal site I stumbled across at sda, that illustrates that obvious fact. It is from their most popular artist, Bouguereau.... http://www.artrenewal.org/asp/database/art.asp?aid=7&page=10 On Immigration, the North American Union, and the Security and Prosperity Prtnership.... these last two I referred to i my piece on Immigration yesterday, specifically
But no nation can sustain it's heritage under an assault unchallenged, by a government involved sub rosa in dissolving it's very unifying character. This is where we are today and only ill can come of it. Hopelessly OT but this is worth it I think:

Do'in Midnight Blues http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4s_78wRNt1M Great link, Habu. I have all Gary Moore's stuff, and this kid does him proud. wow.
Good bye, Antioch.
Sleeping is not giving consent. No. That happens after consent. Body movements and moans is not consent? Good bye, Antioch. (Comment fell off...)
Sleeping is not giving consent. No. That happens after consent. Body movements and moans is not consent? If my comment was edited, I would prefer it be deleted completely. I don't know why the entire is missing, but there was nothing untoward in it, and a partial comment as above just makes me look stupid. I hope it was just a computer glitch.
Habu - One good turn deserves another: A kid playing Pachelbel's Canon in D http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mmgOT_F0hlg&NR . I'm ashamed to say that I don't currently own any of Gary Moore's music..that will be remedied.
Pachelbel's Canon in D ... I hope the kid has those hands insured with Lloyds of London...unreal..Thx, I was mesmerized by it, and more tha a wee bit jealous..I play a very mean kazoo and slide whistle.....mostly Sousa Marches out the kazoo. That was great Phoenix. I agree with Habu, he should insure those hands! What talent at such a young age.
Habu, your young man had plenty o' talent as well. I tend too give extra credit for those who play the slow songs. Which I felt that was, could be wrong. All these budding guitar genius's, amazing. Phoenix:
My precocious seven year old niece called it - The Taco Bell Canon. :-) P:
No one here is blocking or editing comments. Gremlins in the system or something. I do delete evil comments - but we would never interfere with yours. Thanks, BD. I was sorry because it was funny. Considering the subject matter of sex at Antioch and its 24 Dictates, I couldn't help myself.
Habu - "...out the kazoo" ? ha ha ha....... :] I love the 'Taco Bell in D'. It blows my mind. So did Habu's, but I mostly became excited because it was Gary Moore. Fun!! . |
