Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

"Truthers"

This video at Jawa is worth it, if only for the superb music. In America, even paranoid psychotics have free speech, but it is important to label it as such - as this video does.

Watched the whole thing. Good tunes. I have not read the engineering reports but I am imagining the amount of shaking of the ground that accompanied the collapse of the two towers. It is amazing to me that the structural integrety of many more buildings in the immediate area was not compromised. Makes me think all the footings were on bedrock or pinned down to bedrock and that there was nothing built on fill. (Just speculating.) I also cannot believe that Barbara Walters would allow these idiots on her show. WTH? She has now lost any credibility she ever had with me.

All skyscrapers in NYC are build on bedrock. Manhattan is one big rock.
