We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
Forgotten about Costco? Are you mad, Buddy? Their meats are the best. Try their butterflied lamb on the grill and you will never forget about Costco.
By coincidence, we had grilled filet for dinner tonite. I cut off the strings, and wrap a couple of bacon strips around each filet, and hold it with toothpicks. Good beef is definitely worth the globalistical warmening trade-off. I like 3 1/2" filets.
Well, I lost my biz membership @ Sam's when i sold my biz, and Austin is short of Costco on my easy-to-get-to side of town. Our HEB (named for founder H.E. Butts--wonder why they used his initials?) has great meat dep'ts and lotsa volume-packs a la Sam's & Costco. So, I've drifted off, lamentably. Loved those 50 lb sacks of beans, too.
