Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Fly fishing in Patagonia

That's a Maggie's Farm pal fishing in Patagonia recently. (The Mrs. is quite handy with a camera.) With all of the snow we have up here in the northeast, and a driveway with two inches of ice, it's hard to imagine that our trout season opens soon. Over the next week or two, we will post some fishing items.

Hey, lets all be 20 yrs younger, and start a Patagonian Guide Service! I can get my son to provide air services, possibly @ volume discount. All i want to do is fish and eat and drink. I'll be the "weak link" (all organizations have one).

Yes, I hear you need a guide, and a cozy estancia to stay in.
I think that cast isn't so bad. He's got a lot of distance on it.
