Driving a Humvee through Bagdhad

Very cool video. They don't bother to beep the horn. But what I noticed most was the traffic. If things are so bad, why all the traffic?

It reminds me of driving in midtown NYC.�

Great video! Listen more closely. I'm not sure, but think that's the sound of the Humvee horn honking every time they approach the rear of another vehicle.

Sorry, O/T. But a nice piece here on the madness effecting this country. Written by someone with actual experience in living with the absurdities of Marxism. Yoko gets the blame once again, deservedly so it would seem.

I suppose I can tie into the scene above in the sense that we would not be watching that video were it not for the minority in this country who wish us to lose this war, it would mostly be over by now.

Just heard great Arabist Bernard Lewis on tv. He said, among other things, that had Churchill faced the same sort of internal opposition that Bush faces, then "Hitler might well have won his war."

He also said, in reference to the Islamists, that "either we free them or they destroy us".

Two very good points by Mr. Lewis. I especially like the second.

Freedom will work its magic, in the end. But I am reminded (by "300") that it starts at a young age. Unless and until we have some influence upon the young in that 'other' world, our efforts may/will come to naught. Malleable to what, age 10 or so, after that is the belt.
