Maggie's FarmWe are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for. |

The paragliding story - just incredible. My nightmare. How Edward Said made it impossible to speak the truth about Islam and the Middle East. Under the speech section remember this..(this applies if you're in a public place.....if you are really, really pissed at someone and think it would be a good idea to yell at the top of your lungs "I'll get you"......DON'T...
calm down and show you're calm, then approach the person slowly. hands palm forward... then bend over and whisper in his/her ear that their ass is yours. If you are alone with some jerk then the dictum "Testis Unus, testis nullus" is pretty good short of killing the guy. Testis Unus, testis nullus = one witness is no witness PS ..do none of these things. It would be wrong. Just go on your way,peacefully. Especially don't do any of these things unless you are adept at backing them up with action.........but do the right thing..after you've been assaulted and in the hospital room make sure you have a lawyer with you when the police show up in a few days to take your statement. NO JOKE HERE;
Over the The Belmont Club http://fallbackbelmont.blogspot.com/2007/02/fire-this-time.html Under the title "The Truce is Over" Wretchard references Sen Joe Leibermans website and comments and then goes on to dilate the topic with his own insight. It is an EXCELLENT piece of analysys and easily worthy of your time. I encourage a peek and read when time permits you to do so. I have been in this philosophical state now since the Vietnam War. The Left in this country is an enemy of the Constitution but use it to subvert it. This from the front via my backchannels. USMC Air type.

Here, this is good: http://foobarista.blogspot.com/2005/11/being-dictator-ten-step-plan.html It ought to help us set up our dukedoms properly, after the Dems cashier the constitution, hey. Deepest compliments to Sen Judd Gregg of New Hampshire on his work in the Senate today.
Yeah Buddy and I look good in green. I can destroy an economy in a small country with a kilo of c-4 and a few shiny trinkets.
This is interesting. Day before yesterday I had a new Browning 800lb gunsafe delivered. The delivery guy starts talking about the coming "shit". As it unfolds that includes the illegals and the Muz. Although he seemed typically good ole boy he was well informed on the 500k coming in and that some of those had to be Muz bad guys. Then he says that if they try some stuff again he and his buddies are gonna be lighting up the local mosques and a few muz. I'm just nodding, non committal but amazed at his openness and obvious commitment to actually getting it done if they start any crap here. He and his helper left and I just thought ... well I ain't alone, and this is good. |
