I've mentioned it before but it's long been a political maxim that a day in political races and in politics in general is a lifetime. We're now embarked on the longest campaign for the presidency in history. What is it fifty years until the election in dog years? Anyway.

More than we can possibly imagine can take place in that time. A Shirhan Shirhan could certainly emerrge and change the landscape. Just this morning John McCain was warning of a "Tet" like offensive in Iraq. Personally I think he's ALMOST on the money, but he's identified the wrong country. The "Tet" will be here in the USA. It fits the AQ motus operandi to a 'T', T for "Tet" in that they like big dramatic simultaneous events. hell, once they planned on blowing up how manay planes crossin the Pacific 10,12, 16??
So with 500,000 illegal streaming across our borders and the USA locking up our border patrol agents who do their jobs only a fool would think we haven't been infiltrated by at least 10-20,000 Aq agents or AQ-symps. yeah the attack will be here with dirty bombs, fuel oil and fertilizer bombs, and an assotment of mayhem. I'm still at a loss to explain why they go to all the trouble of trying to blow up planes in flight. They could just infiltrate any airport JFK, Dulles, SFO and drive hijacked fuel trucks inot already loaded planes at the gates. Hell it'll kill everybody on the plane and a good many in the terminal.
And fuel oil and fertilizer bombs are very easy to make and their brisance is emormous per unit cost.
yeah the tet will be here and it will be predictable.
Almost a complete collaspe of social order with panic buying and hording, marginal criminals and the hard core will spring into the gated communities to grab the diamonds and gold. You basic state of anarchy.
Curfews, oh yeah after the second or third day.

Brand new car flags ...by the millions ..of course gas will be rationed but hey, we'll have the flags.
You're not worried though because you have a generator. Ok ,fire that thing up and watch people you've never seen before show up at YOUR house, and if they happen to have wants and needs, well your just the MEAL they've been looking for....well anyway..have a nice day.
